James Ellis Davis

James Ellis Davis, Jr. of Spanish Fort, Alabama, died at his home February 8, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ellis Davis, Sr., and Sarah Nabers Davis. He was also preceded by his sister, Sharon Robinson, granddaughter, Angeline Davis, and his precious Aunt Ruthie Crivellari.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Jean H. Davis, his sons, Daniel A. Davis and Mark E. Davis, and grandson, Daniel Mark Davis. He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Taylor, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jim loved nature, animals, and being on the water in his boat. He found joy doing simple things like fishing, watching football (especially Alabama), and watching old westerns on TV. He loved spoiling his dogs and going to casinos.

Jim had a quiet generous nature, and was someone that would do anything for his family.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.
