COGDILL LILLIAN, ALABAMA Hugh Everett Cogdill, age 85, a native of Tennessee and a resident of Lillian, AL passed away Monday, August 10, 2020. Hugh was a loving husband, wonderful father, son and grandfather who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was a Master Welder, Musician, and Master Craftsman. Preceded in death by his children; Timothy Everett Cogdill, Janet Lee Cogdill, Terry Jo Turner, brothers; Leroy Cogdill, Emert Cogdill , sisters; Edra Cogdill, Hazel Davenport, Mary McMahan and Ruth Bratton. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jean Cogdill, daughters; Jeannie Ann Cogdill, Amy D. Morgan, Dawn D. Chamberlain, a brother; Ray Cogdill ,grandchildren; Eric Lee Haynes, Nichole Haynes Scarboro, Jerry Morgan II, Jacob Chamberlain, Isaac Chamberlain, Tristin Jones, great grandchildren; Cheyenne Haynes, Brook Scarboro, Mason “Lil’Abe” Chamberlain, Edison “Lil’Eddie” Chamberlain, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
