Howard Franklin Green, Jr., 73 passed away peacefully Friday, June 30, 2017. He was born in Florence, Alabama. He played baseball for Georgia Tech, where he graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His work took him to many different cities, but he loved retirement in Fairhope, Alabama. He enjoyed a good bookstore, a hot cup of coffee, talking to new people, collecting recipes, art, college football, the beach, and never missed dessert. He loved watching nature, eating a good meal, and exploring new places with his wife, Vickie. He also loved spending time with his daughter Amy Warnock, his son-in-law Delmar Warnock, and his grandchildren Dr. Trey Warnock, Madison Warnock, and Abigail Warnock. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Because of his lifelong love of animals, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Haven, 559 S.
