Henry E. Jones

Henry E. Jones, age 81, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021. Henry graduated from Vigor High School in 1958, then attended Tulane University. He worked a brief time at L&N Railroad, then at International Paper in Mobile in the Instrument department. Henry married his wife, Phyllis, in 1968. He then joined a construction company for building and start-up of new plants. After traveling several locations, he stayed at Leaf River Paper Mill in Mississippi after construction was complete. He remained there until retirement. He returned to Spanish Fort and built a house on Blakeley River. Henry is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hart Jones; children, Tommy (Tammy) Davison, Pamela (Phillip) Lacy; brothers, Herbert Eugene (Linda) Jones, Robert (Peggy) Jones; sisters, Wanda Miller, Carolyn Posey; four grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
