Henry "Hank" Gordon Barron

Henry (Hank) Gordon Barron was born on October 3, 1956, to Henry W. and Georgia Barron. Hank left this world to be with his Heavenly Father and loved ones on October 19, 2024.

Hank was raised in Spanish Fort, Alabama. He grew up hunting and fishing with his father who taught him to love the outdoors. Eventually, he would share that same love with his sons and grandchildren. He loved hunting and fishing and planning his next adventure. Hank loved to cook, garden, walking his companion dog Cody and was always ready to give a helping hand to those in need.

On March 8, 1980, he married his high school sweetheart, Alice Tate. They have been married for 44 years. Hank and Alice were blessed with two sons. Brett Gordon Barron (predeceased) and Henry Douglas Barron. Throughout his life, Hank made an impact on everyone he met, whether through his career in sales or his personal life. Those who knew him knew he was one of a kind. He spent many years helping coach youth baseball and football in our community. He loved helping his sons learn the game and all the children he coached. During those special years, we have made countless memories and friends.

He was a man of God, a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Hank loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his family. He was thankful to God for all his blessings and was grateful for the life God gave him. Hank leaves behind a legacy filled with countless cherished memories with family and friends.

Hank is survived by his wife Alice Barron who says he was the love of her life and best friend, son Henry Douglas Barron and his wife Madelyn Barron, his grandchildren Averi Barron and Henry Barron, Jr. and other relatives.

The family would like to thank all of those who have shown endless love, support, and prayers during his battle with cancer.

The service will be held at Wolfe Bayview Chapel, Daphne, Alabama on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service time. 

Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
