Helen Jones Gomillion

Helen Jones Gomillion, age 79, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022. Helen is a former Queen Mother of the Shady Ladies Red Hat Society. She was a member of the Baldwin Senior Travelers Club. Helen was also a member of the Bunko Club and Canasta Club. Helen is survived by her husband, Ollie Gomillion of Daphne; daughters, Susan (Jeff) G. Tapley, Sabrina (Greg) G. Pierce, Ashley (Jon) G. Thelen; grandchildren, Jeremy G. Tapley, Mallory (Stephanie) Tapley, Brittney Pierce, Sydney (Nolen) Brown, Tucker Pierce, Jacob Thelen, Hannah Thelen, Heidi Thelen, Grace Thelen, Nicholas Thelen; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, at 1:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.act.alz.org.
