Helen R. Carter, age 78, resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Douglas Carter, Sr. and son, James R. Carter. She is survived by her son, Doug (Lisa) Carter of Fairhope; 4 grandchildren, James Hyatt Carter, Lauren Creel, Trey and Kate Lanier Carter; caretaker and best friend, Phyllis Eden of Mobile; other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Mobile on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the service time.
