Hazel Juanita Barnes

Hazel Juanita Barnes, age 77, a resident of Robertsdale, AL., passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. Hazel spent much time gardening and was a huge Alabama fan. She would always say, when asked how she was doing, “I have a smile on my face and a song in my heart.” She was a follower of Christ and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James. N. Barnes. She is survived by her sons, Gary N. Barnes (Marla) of Summerdale and Michael Barnes (Courtney) of Daphne; grandchildren: David Barnes, Morgan Brewer (Hackett), Payton Jewel Barnes, Tyler Barnes, and Brent Barnes; sister, Dorothy Hankins of Vossburg, MS; nephew, Mitchell Henry (Diane); any many other nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
