Gertrude Florence Sowell

Gertrude Florence Sowell, age 93, a resident of Fairhope, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019. Gertrude was preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Nettie Smith; husband, Henry F. Sowell, Sr., four sisters; two brothers; and granddaughter, Connie Sowell. She is survived by her children, Beverly A. Christian, Henry F. (Lucy) Sowell, Jr., Deborah K. (Stan) Fant, Kenneth L. Sowell; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
