Georgia Ann Stapleton

Georgia Ann Stapleton, age 78, of Daphne, Alabama passed away on July 30, 2020. Previously, she resided in Burlington, NC. Ann graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Emmitsburg, MD and was a homemaker for many years, raising her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Helen Allnutt, and a daughter, Catherine. Ann is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Mary Carter (Ryan) and grandchildren, Phillip and Mary Helen of Spanish Fort, AL; daughter, Susan Simon (Bruce) and grandchildren, Patrick and William of Burlington, NC; daughter, Elizabeth Greenway (Todd) and grandchildren Georgia and Evan of Chesterfield, VA; son, Timothy Stapleton (Kelly) and grandchildren Parker, Tobyn and MaKenna of Raleigh, NC. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, AL. Interment will be later at St. Joseph-On-Carrollton-Manor in Frederick, MD.
