George Carr Hinton, 82, passed away April 18, 2020, in Fairhope, AL. He was born in Toulminville, AL, to Eleanor J and William R Hinton, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cheryl Sullivan; sisters Elizabeth (Howard) Joiner, and Dorothy (Aubrey) Sawyer; brothers, William R Hinton, III, Philip (Charlene) Hinton, Sr. and Robert Hinton, Sr.; brother-in-law, Earl Sawyer. He is survived by his wife, Betty Hinton; daughters, Amanda (Tim) Thompson, Angela (David) VanDevander, Lorie (Randy) Johnson; son David (Vicky) Hinton; sisters, Janie Sawyer, Mary (Denson) Freeman; sister-in-law Irma Hinton and brother Genie (Mary K) Hinton. He was Deda (grandfather) to Ben, Jon, Daniel, David, Matthew, Liz, Kady, Chuck, Holly, Misty, Chris, Rachael, Kayla, Tori, Greg and Shannon and to 12 great-grandchildren.
