George W Freund

George William Freund, 59, a resident of Perdido Key, Florida passed away December 15th, 2023. George grew up in Greenwood, Indiana. In 1984 he met the love of his life, Robin Carmichael Freund and they got married in March of 1985 and settled in Cataract, Indiana where they raised their family. They stayed together for 40 years. He loved dirt bike racing, fishing, woodworking and painting but above all else he loved his family. After a long career of working for Rolls Royce Aerospace in Indianapolis, Indiana, him and his wife settled in Perdido Key, Florida where he embraced the Island Grandpa Lifestyle. He could always be found biking around the island, taking his grandchildren on rides to get milkshakes, napping in his hammock or fishing on the beach. George was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Berling Freund, father Jack Freund, brother Jack Alan Freund, sister LeeAnn Johnson and grandson Landon Evans. He is survived by his Wife Robin Carmichael Freund, Daughter Jessica (Christopher) Toler, Daughter Alesha (Joshua) Trivett, Son Larry (Madison) Freund, Daughter Marinna Freund, and Daughter Kaitlyn (Michael Pincince) Freund as well as His Grandchildren, Natalie, Claire, Sadie, Owen, Averleigh, Calvin, Jackson and Noah, Sister Sherry (Tom) Harmon and Brother Carl (Julie) Freund; along with many other loving relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held March 20th, 2024 on the beach in Perdido Key, Florida.
