George Calvin Dyson, Jr.

George Calvin Dyson, Jr., age 84, native and resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019. George was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was actively involved with Christ the King School and the Marietta Johnson Organic School of Education for many years and was a graduate of McGill Institute and Spring Hill College. He is survived by his children, Joe (Belinda) Dyson, Mike Dyson, Tommy Dyson, Regina (Eric) Craig, Rachel (Travis) Scott; 9 grandchildren, Neil (Melanie), Brittney (Tyler), David (Samantha), Janet, Courtland, Kennedy, Christian, Landon, Nicholas; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Dyson Brown; other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Colony Cemetery.
