George "Buddy" Frederick Brown, Jr.

George “Buddy” Frederick Brown, Jr., age 85, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospice, Gulfport, MS. He was a Korean War Veteran of the US Army and a member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Pineville, LA. He was also a life member of the VFW Gaston Lee Post 5660 in Fairhope, AL and a Master Mason of Greeno Masonic Lodge 598, Fairhope, AL. Mr. Brown retired as a supervisory security officer in 1988 at the US Naval Home in Gulfport, MS with over 20 years of federal service. He is preceded in death by his parents, George F. Brown, Sr. and Ethel R. Brown; daughter, Brenda Storie and sister, Sandra Henry. He is survived by his son, George F. Brown III, and wife, Laurie A. Brown, of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren: Jessica Priest of Gautier, MS, Jerrica Brown of Gulfport, MS, Rachel Walls of Manassas, VA, George F. Brown IV of Springfield, VA, Kelsie Brown of Biloxi, MS, Mitchel Storie of Richmond, TX and Miranda Pavolini of Biloxi, MS; seven great grandchildren; son-in-law, Jarvis Storie of Gulfport MS; and many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, AL.
