Gary B. West

Gary West, 74 from Foley, Alabama passed away and was reunited with his son, Jeremy, on June 18, 2021.

He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and his parents were Jim and Joyce West.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of 44 years and their precious daughter, Kelly; her fiancé’, Greg; grandson Rowan and family pets, Sara, Zoot and Koa. He also has one sister, Lisa Stanley in Alpharetta, Georgia; two brothers, Jimmy West (deceased) and Michael (Charlene) West from Live Oak, Florida along with nieces and nephews.

Gary was a local musician and enjoyed playing harmonica with many other musicians in the area. He enjoyed making sand candles in his candle shop as well as writing poetry and woodworking. Gary never met a stranger and he loved telling jokes. Gary loved to make people laugh and was a true inspiration to others. Through his light-hearted nature and his love of life he will continue to teach us to find the joy in all things.

Graveside services will be private.
