Florene "Flo" Williams Clayton

CLAYTON DAPHNE, AL Florene Williams Clayton, age 99, a resident of Daphne, AL passed away Friday, March 4, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Florene served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Daphne Baptist Church. Florene was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Jimmy Small and Thurman Clayton. Sisters and brothers. She is survived by her son, Fred (Karen) Small of Daphne, AL, two sisters; Geraldine Waller of Birmingham, AL, Betty (James) Tinney of Morganton, NC; four grandchildren, Jimmy Small of Daphne, Kimberly Small (Aaron) Phillips of Demopolis, AL, Christopher Small and Jennifer Small both of Daphne, AL; one great grandson, Oliver Phillips; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to say Thank You to her special caregivers, Pam, and Yolanda for the loving care that they gave to Flo. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne, AL on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11am. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10am until 11am at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne, AL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Daphne Baptist Church.
