Flora Long

Flora Mae Long, the most patient woman in Fairhope, AL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 24, 2017. She was 85, proving you can live a long and happy life on a diet of Hershey's Kisses, coffee, pound cake, and milk. To be in her home was to be surrounded by her warmth, even if she kept the air at a cool 65.    Flora was many things--treasured sister, loyal friend, impressive gossip--but most of all she was a mother. In this she gave her whole heart and a little something extra.    She will be laid to rest beside her beloved daughter Stephanie, and will be fiercely missed by her husband Fred, her son Michael, her nephew Jeff, her grandsons Cooper and Justin, and her great granddaughters Flora June and Santina Rose.    Services will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 until time of service.
