Evelyn Bell Bailey

Evelyn B. Bailey, age 82, a native of Buena Vista, Virginia and a resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018. Evelyn was a strong and lovely woman who loved the Lord, her children and grandchildren.  She was a great role model for the women in her life.  She will be missed. She is preceded in death by Her parents, Bernard and Nellie Campbell of Stephenson, West Virginia; brothers, Ralph and Hunter Campbell; sisters, Louise Franklin, Francis Whittaker, Viola Sheets and Jane Frenandez. Evelyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul D. Bailey of Spanish Fort; son, Steven (Wendy) Bailey; daughter, Pamela (Rubin) Hadley; granddaughters, Amy (Troy) Dyess, Campbell Bailey; grandson, Jason Hadley and his fiancé, Abigail Phares; sister-in-law, Phyllis Dixon; Brothers-in-law, Sonny (Patty) Bailey, Darrell (Vicki) Bailey; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.  Her family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Officiating the services will be Reverend Jerry Caylor, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.  Serving as pallbearers will be Hollis Smith, Billy Morrison, Mike Bailey, Brian Wilson, Henry Dennis and Kenny Wooten.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Seales, Ted Moffett, and Alan Jordan. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made, in Evelyn’s name to First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.
