Elizabeth "Lady" Holsonback

Mrs. Elizabeth Cannon Holsonback, Age 87, a native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama died Tuesday, May 25, 2021. 

Affectiately known as Lady, she is survived by her children, Robbie (Don) Hansen of Spanish Fort, AL, Monty “Ty” (Carol) Holsonback, Jr. of Loxley, Alabama, Matthew (Velina) Holsonback of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Paige (Sammy) McCrory Of Spanish Fort, AL, Michelle Hansen of Spanish Fort, AL, Joshua and Shelby Holsonback of Loxley, AL, Arabella (Tim) Cox of Hampton, VA, 3 great grandchildren, Brent McCrory, Caleb McCrory, Kaylee Northcutt and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

She graduated from Murphy High School in 1951 and remained an active member with the Class Reunion Committee.  She retired in 2006 after 18 years with The Presbytery of South Alabama.  She was a charter member of Grace Presbyterian Church for 60 years serving as Music Director, Choir Director, and Pianist for over 39 years.  As an active member of a women’s mystic society, she served as President of the 45^th Annual Ball, and Emblem of the 55^th Annual Ball, currently maintaining honorary status.

Lady’s life will be honored at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne location on Friday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 1255 Navco Road, Mobile, AL 36605 or your favorite charity.
