Elizabeth Ann Adams, age 96, a native of Wayne, PA and a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She graduated from Radnor High School as Valedictorian; she then attended Antioch College with a Journalism degree. She became a reporter starting in Mansfield, OH and continued her career in Lorain, OH, where she became a video production Manager. She and her husband then moved to Fairhope, where they lived for 30 years. She was an active tennis player, until the age of 83, after which she was an active walker every day. She was also a great reader, a member of a local Book Club and was involved in a study group at the Fairhope Library. She also loved and participated in TaiChi for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Carl Adams. Her survivors include her daughter, Caryl Adams of La Mesa, CA; brother, Mark Rickabaugh (Lynne) of Boca Grande, FL; nephews, Mark L. Rickabaugh and Samuel “Ben” Rickabaugh, both of New York, NY; other relatives and friends. A celebration of Mrs. Adams’ life will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:30am.
