Eleanor Smart Underwood

UNDERWOOD ELBERTA, ALABAMA Eleanor Smart Underwood age 75 a resident of Elberta, AL passed away Monday, September 2, 2019. Eleanor was a teacher in the Baldwin County Public School System where she taught A. P. English for many years. She was also a member of Josephine Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Mildred Smart. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lyle B. Underwood of Elberta, AL, many special nieces and nephews she loved them all and they loved her very much; one brother, Leonard (Sharon Culver) Smart of Fairhope; one sister, Alice (John) Corley of Falls Church, VA, and many other relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held at Josephine Baptist Church, Friday, September 6, 2019 at 4pm.
