Elaine Gilbertson

Elaine Pepper Gilbertson, age 88, a native of Glens Falls, NY, and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. She was a strong military wife and mother of six. She was admired by all. She is preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Rollin Pepper. Survivors include her husband, James S. Gilbertson of Fairhope; her six children: Gary (Pat) Gilbertson of Oak Hill, VA, Judy (Michael) Hanna of Huntsville, AL, James (Deborah) Gilbertson also of Huntsville, AL, Nancy (Tim) Miller of New Market, AL, Rick Gilbertson of Fairhope, and Mark (Kimberlea) Gilbertson of Warrenton, VA; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Mrs. Gilbertson’s Life will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will begin receiving friends at 2:00 until time of service.
