Eileen Pempel

Eileen Pempel, 79, a resident of Spanish Fort passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. Eileen was born in New York to Joseph and Rosena McLarnon who followed the American dream there from Ireland. She was a devoted member of Christ the King and a proud participant in The Ladies Sodality. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Pempel. Mrs. Pempel leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 59 years, Fred Pempel; children, Marian Pempel and Greg (Sueann) Pempel; grandchildren, Wayne Koziatek, Brian Pempel and Erin Rose Pempel; sisters-in-law, Alice James and Jean McLarnon; many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King in Daphne on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
