Edward Eugene Dix      

Edward Eugene Dix, peacefully passed on from his life on March 11, 2024 in Fairhope, Alabama. Edward was born on August 15, 1941 in Danville, Virginia to Annie and George Dix.

Family and friends fondly remember Ed’s love for his Harley Davidson, his cowboy boots and western belt buckles, watching western movies, boxing, and driving on open roads, something he did for most of his life as a long-haul truck driver. Ed lived an intentionally private life and loved his family, exemplifying strength, faith and a pursuit of adventure.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Dix, sister Shirley Leydecker, his children Rhonda Dix, Daniel Dix, Mindy Dix, David Dix, Shawn Dix, Candice Dix and Angel Moulds, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends who loved him dearly. Edward gave life to his children and those lives evolved into unfathomable love.

Edward has reunited with his siblings Louise Perry, George Dix Jr., Dorothy Garcia, Bonnie DeMarco and his parents Annie and George Dix.

Memories of Edward will always remain in our hearts and we are comforted knowing his Soul rests in peace.
