Edmund Xavier Loughran

Edmund Xavier Loughran, age 84, resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. Edmund was a retired US Air Force Brigadier General. He was an Air Force navigator and commercial pilot with over 30,000 aviation hours. Edmund was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the VFW Gaston Lee post. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Loughran of Fairhope; daughter, Sara Lynn Loughran of Daphne; sons, Scott Loughran of Los Angeles, CA, Edmund Loughran (Meaghan) of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Grace and Julia Loughran of Washington, DC; sisters, Maryanne Loughran and Lida Parker, both of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Christian Loughran of Tucson, AZ, Mark Loughran of San Francisco, CA; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass.
