Dr. Curtis Harris, a renowned yet remarkably humble and quiet plastic surgeon, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born in Idaho, Curtis’s gifted hands and keen eye transformed countless lives throughout his distinguished career. He approached his demanding profession with a quiet dedication, his skill speaking volumes where words were few. Patients often remarked not only on his exceptional talent but also on his gentle demeanor and unassuming nature. He retired just three years ago, leaving behind a legacy of artistry and compassion within the medical community.
Beyond the operating room, Curtis found joy in the freedom of the skies. An avid pilot, he spent many happy hours soaring above the landscape he so admired. In his quieter moments, he cherished a good book and the warmth of the sun, finding solace and tranquility in its embrace.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer; his two children Tiffany and Curtis; stepchildren Michele McKee, Deven Moore (India), Laurie Repoll (John); and many grandchildren who will forever remember his kindness and quiet presence.
A graveside service will be held at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 9:00am.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fairhope Seventh Day Adventist Church, 22980 US Highway 98, Fairhope, AL 36532
