Dorris Louise Henderson

Dorris Louise Henderson, age 88, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020. She was the best Mother and “Meme” ever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Henderson, Sr. and two grandsons, Chris and Christian Henderson. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Jerkins of Spanish Fort, Linda (Jim) Horechny of Fairhope, and Brenda Andresen of Corvallis, OR; sons, Joey (Daphne) Henderson of Foley, James (Sherrie) Henderson, Ray (Cheryl) Henderson and David (Pam) Henderson, all of Fairhope; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Pat) Allen of Spanish Fort, Junior (Lydia) Allen of Silverhill and Arthur Allen of Fairhope; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Fairhope on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 until service time. Interment will be held at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to your favorite charity.
