Dorothy Ann Schermer

Dorothy Ann Schermer, age 74, died peacefully in Mobile, Alabama, May 15, 2018, after a long illness. She was born in Fairhope, AL. and was a longtime resident of Marietta, GA. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Lula and Alton Schermer of Fairhope. She is survived by her sister, Alice Arnold; nieces, Alisa Curran and Suzy Vekemans; great niece, Bella Vekemans and great nephew, Billy Vekemans; many cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Confederate Rest Cemetery in Point Clear at a later date.
