Dorothy Mae Medynski

Dorothy Mae Medynski, age 94, a former resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Medynski, her son, Ronald G. Stratis, her parents, Ralph and Florence Rice, her sister, Mary Dichiara, and her brothers, Charles Rice, Melvin Rice, John Rice and Ray Rice. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Constance (Richard) McRae, brother, Chester Rice, sisters, Evelyn (Johnny) Odom, Ruth Provencher, Margaret (Charles) Roy; three grandchildren, Ronda (Marc) Elkins, Christina (Michael) Hunt, Nick (Rebecca) McRae, seven great grandchildren, Sam Garvin, Katie Garvin, Matthew Hunt, Christopher Hunt, Thomas Hunt, William Hunt and Logan McRae; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope chapel . Graveside services will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, at 10:00am at the Alabama Veterans State Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
