Dorothy "Dotsie" Green Walter

Dorothy (Dotsie) Virginia G. Walter 57, a resident of Spanish Fort, AL. passed away March 1, 2018.  In 1960, she was born in Mobile, AL. to Mary H. Green and Charles B. Green. Dotsie spent most of her life in Lewisburg, PA. and Mifflinburg, PA, before moving home to Alabama.  She graduated from Lewisburg High School and attended Bloomsburg State College before marrying her husband of 41 years, Ricky L. Walter of Mifflinburg, PA. Her mother, Mary H. Green, preceded her in death by three weeks. She is survived by her husband, Ricky L. Walter; her children: Jennifer W. (Justin) Bartholomew of Sunbury, PA; Brandyn (Sarah) Walter of San Antonio, TX; Jacob (Amanda) Walter of Selinsgrove, PA; father: Charles B. Green of Spanish Fort, AL; sisters: Brenda G. (Paul) Killian, Tulsa, OK, Cynthia G. Cunningham, Spanish Fort, AL, Margie G. (Bruce) Robinson, Mobile, AL; Aunt and Uncle Barbara and Bruce Lund, Daphne, AL; many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Dotsie was previously a member of Winfield Baptist Church, Winfield, PA and currently a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.  She loved fishing, gardening, animals and spending time with friends and family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Spanish Fort United Methodist Church Sanctuary Project, Winfield Baptist Church, animal charities, or a charity of your choice.
