Doris Louise Green Jolley, age 96 of Germantown, Tennessee, devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully went to be with her Lord on the early morning of October 30, 2019. She was born in Center, Alabama and grew up in Cedartown and Rome, Georgia. Doris was married to Frank F. Jolley (deceased Nov. 2011) of Rome, Georgia. They were married for 61 years and are survived by their two sons, Henry F. Jolley and wife Bobbye of Fairhope and David E. Jolley and wife Kay of Germantown, TN. Mrs. Jolley also had seven grandchildren, Michael Jolley and wife Tabitha of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, Patrick Guy and wife Brooke of Fairhope, Alabama, Mary Jane Krogsgard and husband Jeff of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Laura Jolley Oppenheimer and husband Nathan of Collierville, Tennessee, Kristen Jolley Eargle and husband Joshua of Lawrence, Kansas, Nathan Jolley and wife Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee and Natalie Jolley of Memphis, Tennessee and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jolley was well known and loved in the Eastern Shore community working with her husband, Frank at Thompson's Fine Fashions and then at Gayfers/ Dillards. She was a long time member of Old Spanish Fort Baptist Church as well as Eastern Shore Baptist Church. While at Old Spanish Fort Baptist Church she was Nursery Coordinator/ Director and very faithful member. Also, at Eastern Shore Baptist Church she was a faithful member of Faith Alive ladies class/ group. She was a resident of Spanish Fort and Fairhope for 47 years from 1964 until 2011 before moving to Germantown, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm Saturday, November 2, and funeral service is to follow at 1:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, 19698 Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
