Doris "Dottie" Mitchell

Doris “Dottie” Keys Mitchell, age 96, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Colonel USAFR (Retired) Robert Wesley Mitchell, Sr., who passed away April 25, 2008. Her survivors include her sons, Robert Wesley Mitchell, Jr. (Lisa Dunn), Charles Albert Keys Mitchell (Barbara) and Wesley David Mitchell, II all of Fairhope; granddaughter, January Leigh Mitchell Taylor of Mobile; great grandchildren, Shelby Marie Taylor, Henry Keys Taylor and William Hudson Taylor; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. A private double graveside service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery for Robert and Dottie.
