Donnie Benjamin Townsend, age 87, resident of Mobile, AL passed away Monday, October 15, 2018. Donnie was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was loved and admired by all. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Glenn Townsend; 7 brothers; and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Edna Townsend of Mobile; daughter, Nancy Townsend of Mobile; special friends, Craig and Ericka Brown of Port Charlotte, FL; 4 grandchildren, Alex Townsend, Jessica Townsend Prestwood (Smith), Pace Townsend, Kaytlyn Townsend; 4 special grandchildren, Tina Brown Littleton (Lawrence), Darren Brown (Rebecca), Justin Brown (Lisa), Alysen Brown Lucas; 9 special great-grandchildren; other loving relatives and friends.
