Donna Lee (Trippel) Torrence, 78, of Foley, AL passed away December 9th, 2019. Born June 8th, 1941, in Breese, Illinois to Arthur J. and Esther I. (Seibert) Trippel. She married Robert Dale Torrence on September 6th, 1959. After being a stay at home mom for many years, Donna received a Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University. To the end, she never forgot a birthday or a special occasion. One of her favorite occasions was Christmas. Donna always loved big, and made Christmas special for everyone. It is with joyful hearts that we can carry on her Christmas spirit and know that she is in a place where there is no more pain.  A place where there are endless Hallmark movies, Skipbo games, and laughter.  In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Art Trippel; sister, Carol Sebring, and sister, Lois Klein. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Dale Torrence; children Darren (Cindy) Torrence of Pensacola, FL, and Robyn Dawn Collins of Springboro, OH; grandchildren, Casey (James) Holliday, Courtney (Michael) Rarick, Matt Collins, and Meredith Collins; great-grandchildren Torrence (Tory) Holliday, Silas Rarick, and many beloved nieces and nephews  Donations in Donna’s remembrance can be made to the American Diabetes Association (https://www.diabetes.org/ ).
