Donald "Mel" Garron, Jr.

Donald Meldon “Mel” Garron, Jr., 55, a resident of Stapleton passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Mel was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Garron and son, Jafet Barrera. He is survived by his wife Lucia Garron; daughters, Melanie (Shaun) Jodon of Mississippi, Sherrie (Nathan) Pardue of South Carolina, and Mahli Barrera of Birmingham; son, Matthew Garron of Birmingham; 4 grandchildren; father, Donald (Sue) M. Garron, Sr. and brothers, Michael Garron and David (April) Garron of Mobile; 2 nieces; many other loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life to honor Mel will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 4:00pm at Daphne United Methodist Church.
