Donald Arthur Hirz

Donald Arthur Hirz, 93, a resident of Elberta passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

He was a lifelong resident of Elberta and a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. He was an avid bowler, umpire and was dedicated to Camp Dixie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leota Hirz and nephew, James Nelson.

He is survived by his nephews, George (Annette) Nelson, Elberta, AL, Bobby (Deidre) Nelson; niece, Sherri Nelson; 2 great nieces; 3 great nephews; 1 great-great niece.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Elberta. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM.

Interment to follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
