Don Roger Hermecz

Don Roger Hermecz, age 74, a resident of Foley, AL, passed away June 29, 2020. He was an avid Alabama and Saints fan, loved to grill out and enjoyed the turkey shoot during the fall. Don retired from the Oil Field in 2001 then he was a maintenance supervisor for McDonalds. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Mytrice Hermecz; brother, Ted Hermecz; sister, Carol Hermecz. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Laura Carolyn Hermecz; sons, Lowell Don (Tiffany) Hermecz, Kevin Ambrose (Barbara) Hermecz; daughter, Tawana Annette (Jerry) Koutny; brother Roy James (Linda) Hermecz; 9 grandchildren, Alli-Mae, Anika, Dawson, Harrison, Kevin Ryan, Makenna, Richie, Shelby and Zach; 5 great-grandchildren, Asher, Jason, Chase, Robbie and Will. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM, Monday, July 6, 2020, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home and internment will follow at Brook-Cedron Cemetery in Fairhope.
