Diane Williams Wanker

Diane Williams Wanker, age 76, a native of Long Beach, Mississippi and resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. A graduate of Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi, Diane retired from the United States Federal Probation Office. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Randolph and Doris Hickman Williams. Diane is survived by her husband, John E. Wanker; children, Randy Favre, Kevin Favre, Emily (Kyle) Thomas; grandchildren, Sara Thomas, Bradley (Campbell) Thomas, Jared Thomas, Benjamin Thomas, Cooper Favre, Clair Favre; great grandchildren, McLane Thomas and Eloise Hayes Thomas; sister, Barbara (Gary) Robinson; brother Ronald Williams; brother in law, William (Viola) Wanker; sister in law, Kay (Jerry) Snyder; nephews, Terry (Virginia) Robinson and Paul Williams; niece, Tracy (Steve) Novak; and grandnephew, Mason Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 11:00am. Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00am.
