Diane Robbins Reid

Diane Robbins Reid, age 63, a native of Slidell, Louisiana and a resident of Fairhope for over 50 years, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. Diane taught Kindergarten at Robertsdale Elementary School for 25 years and positively influenced many students’ lives throughout her career. Diane was known for her caring sprit, loving heart, and positive outlook, and was a true believer in the power of prayer. She always thought of everybody else’s needs before her own and kept a ready supply of spiritual and uplifting cards to send when needed. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends in and beyond Fairhope. Diane is survived by her husband, John Robert Reid, her sister, Brenda Robbins, her best friend Theresa Bryant, cousin Beverly Hammock, and many other relatives and friends. The family also wishes to thank friend Jane Carlson for her excellent care and concern for Diane and her parents during the last several years. Private chapel and graveside services were provided by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home of Fairhope at Memory Gardens of Fairhope Cemetery, Wednesday, August 5, 2020. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or other charitable organization of your choice.
