Delnora Hartley Norman, a resident of Fairhope, age 71, formerly of Fort Deposit, AL, passed to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 27, 2020. She was the first baby to be delivered in the Fort Deposit Clinic on January 18, 1949. Delnora was the only child of the late Ruby Mae Harrison and Joseph Ralph Hartley of Fort Deposit. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Peter Dara Norman, Sr.; daughter, Stacey Norman Sexton (Tracy); son, Peter Dara Norman, Jr. (Bettina); and granddaughters, Peyton Sexton, Camryn Sexton, Kayce Sexton, Esmeralda Norman and Hartley Sexton; grandson, Bodhi Norman. She attended Lowndes County High School in Fort Deposit and Judson College in Marion, AL. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Fairhope, and a lifelong Christian having accepted Jesus as her Savior at a young age. After retiring as an office manager and moving to Fairhope, Delnora became very involved in Community Bible Study where she served as secretary for 15 years. A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Baptist Church, Fairhope with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by the service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 300 S.
