Dee Bowers Davis, age 95, a resident of Westminster Village in Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022.
Dee was a faithful member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church, a former resident of Birmingham, currently residing in Spanish Fort. Dee and her husband, Charles, were active members of the American Rose Society. She retired from UAB Department of Psychiatry as an executive secretary and served as an executive secretary for the Alabama District Branch of the American Psychiatric Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Davis.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Patricia O’Hear of Daphne, Alabama, and Linda (Anthony) Nelson of Birmingham, Alabama; one sister, Zuma (Levern) Dye of Tiger, Georgia; four grandchildren, Todd Nelson, Jennifer (Daniel) Carter, Callie (Sam) Hutto, Jeremy (Becky) Nelson; five great-grandchildren, Davis Carter, Charlotte Rose “Charlie” Carter, Belle Tassin, Brenna Tassin, Jax Nelson; many other loving relatives and friends.
Dee will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
