Debra D Cargerman

CARGERMAN FOLEY, AL Debra D. Cargerman of Foley, AL and formerly of Plainfield, IL died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Thomas Hospital Infirmary Health, Fairhope, AL. She was born May 20, 1955 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Thomas Clemons and Kathleen (Sharp) Clemons. She married Michael P. Cargerman on December 6, 1987 in Springfield, IL. She is survived by her husband, Michael P. Cargerman of Foley, AL; two sons, Jeffrey Cargerman( Kelsey Knutson) of Lees Summit, MO and Joel Cargerman of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Terry Clemons. Debra earned her degree in nursing from Lincoln Land College. She had a stellar career in nursing that included working in bone marrow transplant, cancer nursing, IV therapy, emergency room, urgent care and cardiology. She concluded her career working in the hospice field showing great compassion to her patients. Debra had an outgoing personality and was very liked with many dear friends. She was a room mother for her kids, avid baker, enjoyed her family vacations and loved her dogs. Debra loved celebrating and decorating for the holidays, collected Barbie dolls, wore Chuck Taylor shoes, and loved shopping at TJ Maxx. Private family service will be held at a later date.
