Deborah Winberg Fleming, age 65, of Spanish Fort, AL, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021. She was born on September 9, 1955, to Lawrence Wesley Winberg, Sr., and Esther Chaperon Winberg at Gorgas Hospital in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone. The youngest of seven children, Debbie moved from the Panama Canal Zone to her father's hometown of Fairhope at the age of nine and was an active, lifelong resident of Mobile Bay's Eastern Shore community. She graduated from Fairhope High School in 1975 and attended Faulkner State Community College. Debbie enjoyed Interior Design, Real Estate, and Caregiving careers, but her favorite roles were wife, mother, and Mimi. Debbie and her husband Jack had been married for more than 37 years and shared four beautiful children and ten grandchildren. Debbie will be remembered by family and many friends for her loving spirit, infectious smile, gift of entertaining, bubbly personality, and generous heart. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rolando E. Winberg (Maritza) of Panama, and sister, Odie (Cleve) Soper of Daphne, AL. She is survived by her husband John "Jack" Fleming of Spanish Fort, AL, daughters Esther Andrews, of Mobile, AL, and Marissa (Joseph) Thetford, of Fairhope, AL, stepdaughter, Dawn (Derek) Thomas of Fairhope, AL, stepson, John Fleming, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, brother Glen Wesley Winberg, Jr., of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Lawrence E. (Ernie) Winberg, of Fairhope, AL, Aly Hill (Fred)of Daphne, AL, Mildred (Jim) Quinley of Fayetteville, GA.; ten grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne, AL., at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Christ the King Catholic School, ATTN: Building Fund 711 College Ave., Daphne, AL, 36526 or the Thomas Hospital Foundation, P.O.
