Deborah "Debbie" M. Phipps

Deborah “Debbie” M. Phipps, a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. Debbie was born in Escambia Co, Florida, to the late Joseph and Betty Jo Morgan.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to cook and loved gardening. She will dearly be missed by her family and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Buddy” C. Phipps, III, and grandson, Drew Morgan.

Debbie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Joseph “Shane” Morgan, and his wife, Lisa of Palmetto, FL; grandsons, Joseph “Cole” Morgan, Houston (John) Hagaman and Ryan (Emi) Hagaman; great granddaughters, Farrah and Demi Morgan; sisters, Becky (Ron) Brannon, Linda (Jimmy) English, Lisa (Joel) Calhoun, Suzanne (Bobby) McKinney and Pamela Morgan.

A graveside service will be held at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, at a later date.

To honor Debbie’s memory, contributions are requested to be made to the USA Mitchell Cancer Center.
