JETER DAPHNE Dawn Stanley Jeter, age 59, a resident of Irvington passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. She worked as a dispatcher for the Dauphin Island Police Department for 10 years and was a 911 communications call taker for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi Deloris McKenzie and sister-in-law, Charlene Adams. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Jeter, Irvington; daughter, Tiffany Rene Jeter, Horn Lake, MS; sons, Bobby Ray Jeter, Jr., Horn Lake, MS and Justin Ray Jeter, Beaverton, OR; father, Bill McKenzie, Mobile; brothers, Chris (Julie) Stanley, Mobile, Craig (Tracie) Stanley, Spanish Fort; father-and-mother-in-law, Charles and Fredna Jeter, Horn Lake, MS; sister-in-law, Jeanie (Greg) Stephens, Horn Lake, MS; brothers-in-law, Scott (Angie) Jeter, Horn Lake, MS and Steven (Anita) Jeter, Bad Tolz, Germany. The family will receive friends, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. Graveside services will follow at 2:30pm at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or American Cancer Society.
