David Nolan Sanders, 77, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away on August 13, 2023. Dave will be remembered as a leader in the auto collision industry most of his career. The past seven years he worked in the boat collision industry. To him, everyone was a friend. He would offer help to anyone in need, had faith in God, and always showed enormous and unconditional love to his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivey Nelson Sanders; mother, Mary Christine Thomason Sanders; and sister, Debra Lanier (Jim) Sanders. Dave is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Linda Lockridge Sanders; brothers, Tom (Karla-deceased) Sanders and Mike (JoAnn) Sanders, Bill (Kristi) Sanders; children, Cory David Sanders and Shelly Sanders Yingling; stepson, David Scott (Shauna) Denecke; granddaughters, Olivia Yingling and Avery Denecke, Morgan and Madison; in-laws, Ruth (Tim) Doughty, Carolyn (Charlie) Adkins, Robin (Mark) Powell, and Deborah Chavez; cousins, Jim (Nelda) Thomason, Carole (NW Green-deceased) Woods, Joy (Larry) Smith, Carter Gamble, Terry (Jenny) Gamble, Beth (Bill) Poetz, John (Betty-deceased) Manley, Sonya (Ken) Garbe, Jack Thomason, and Wesley Thomason; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.
