Daphne Alexander Bruer

BRUER POINT CLEAR, AL. Daphne Alexander Bruer, age 51, a resident of Point Clear, AL, passed away unexpectedly with a short battle with cancer, July 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mobile, AL. She was a student of Christ the King Catholic School. In 1987 Daphne graduated from Bayside Academy and later attended the University of Texas. She lived in Atlanta and worked at a law firm for 30 years. In 2018 Daphne came home to live with her parents and reconnected with her friends. She loved animals and was a part of ASPCA and enjoyed knowing she helped to rescue animals. Daphne loved living at the Point and enjoyed the countless sunrises and sunsets. She also loved her job and even though she was a private person she had a great sense of humor. She is survived by her parents, Luko and Diana of Point Clear; sister, Jelica (Vince) Bruer Nuccio and CuMo of Oregon, numerous cousins and many relatives and friends. A Celebration of Daphne’s Life will be held at a later date. She will be buried at the Boninovo gravesite in Dubrovnik, Croatia with her grandparents that overlooks the sea.
