Daisy Crosby Mitchell was born in Brewton, Alabama to Levi and Lucy Banks. She was a long-time resident of Fairhope, Alabama, who loved life to the fullest.
She attended Baldwin County Training School, class of 1963. She worked as a devoted hospitality employee of Paul Strickland, Point Clear, for twenty-five plus years.
She was preceded in sunset by her loving husband of 30 years, Melvin Mitchell. She was one of nine siblings: brothers and sisters, O’Neil Banks, Levi Banks Jr., Willie Banks Sr., Roosevelt H. Banks, John Horus Banks, Henry Banks, Della King and Mary McCants.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories two children, Terry Crosby of Daphne, and Kirsten (Shelton) Nevills of Foley; three grandchildren, Brannon Crosby, Jayson Pownall, and Nicholas Nevills; devoted family and friends, George Jerkins, Kathy Nero, Pastor Tate, and Elder Freddie Johnson, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A celebration of Daisy’s life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Restoration Fellowship Ministries, Inc, at 11:00am.
The family of the late Daisy Crosby Mitchell would like to thank everyone for their sincere expressions of kindness during their time of loss. The numerous condolences, cards, prayers and phone calls and every act of love and support you have bestowed is a precious gift.
