On January 11, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona, Clara Mae and Harold James Smith were blessed with a beautiful girl. Connie Louise Smith, Connie being the eighth of ten children. On March 12, 1976, Connie herself was blessed with the birth of a beautiful girl, of which she lovingly named, LaCrequsia. After graduating from South Mountain High School, she accepted the marriage proposal of the love of her life and the father of her child, Grady D. Poole, who had enlisted in the United States Air Force. They were united in holy matrimony on October 28, 1977. Together they had two additional children; Angel and Gralun. Connie was a loyal, caring, loving and most of all inspiring lady. Over the years, Connie obtained her Associates in Nursing degree working several years in various capacities as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She eventually went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science- Healthcare Administration, a Master’s degree- Information Systems, and ultimately her Master’s of Science in Psychology. Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband of twenty-four years, Grady D. Poole, her daughter LaCrequsia R. Frost, her Son Gralun D. Poole, her mother and father Clara Mae and Harold James Smith, her brothers, Arnold and John Smith, and sisters, Roxene Gayden, Ruby Deckard, Ethel Smith all of Phoenix, Arizona, and Rochelle Massey of Florida. Connie is survived by Angel D. Poole, her devoted daughter. She excitedly enjoyed her four grandchildren, Sage M. Poole (23), Aiden M. Poole (12), Mikhala R. Holloway (10), and Manely A.D. Poole (4). Also left to cherish her memories are one brother H. James Smith; two sisters Patricia Smith, Carol Gomes, all of Phoenix, Arizona, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. On Sunday, February 28, 2021 Connie Louise Poole, 62, a resident of Daphne, Alabama, passed away. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at the Daphne Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes.
