Connie White Hughes

HUGHES FOLEY, AL Connie White Hughes, age 79, a resident of Foley, AL, passed away on December 22, 2023. She had worked in the area at Craft Farms and Seaside Beach and Racquet Club. Then Connie and her husband Joe opened Island Realty. Connie was the owner and operator of Reruns, the first consignment shop in the area, for more than 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Foley, AL. Preceding her in death were her husband Charles J. Hughes, her parents, Leslie S. Quick and Jacqueline Quick, and her brother, Ronald (Sharon) White. Connie is survived by her daughter, Shannon Senkarik, of Pensacola, FL, her son, Joseph Hughes, of Foley, AL, and grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama, on Tuesday, January 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lay Cemetery in Foley, AL. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Gentiva Hospice of Pensacola, FL.
